Hey, I’m Allison! The hands, heart, and occasional hot mess behind Sustainable Soul Rochester.

This whole thing started with a tiny seed. Literally. I planted one in my garden, and next thing I knew, I had tomatoes, honeydew, spinach, and eggplant. Real food, from dirt and sunlight. It changed something in me. If something that small could grow into something nourishing, maybe my little ideas could too?!

That’s how Sustainable Soul Rochester came to life — not from a perfect plan, but from a gut feeling that I could create something meaningful. Everything I make and curate is rooted in intention. From candles and bath salts to plantable paper and garden-grown goods, these offerings are made to bring comfort, calm, and connection into your space.

I’m not here to sell perfection; I’m here to offer real-life, soul-soothing, sustainable swaps. I didn’t grow up knowing all the “eco-friendly” rules. I figured it out piece by piece: making swaps, repurposing what I could, and slowly building a life that feels more aligned with the earth and my own rhythm.

And I give a damn about impact. That’s why we do things with purpose behind the scenes, too. All of our pre-order boxes are packed with materials from Noissue, a company dedicated to sustainable packaging. Everything else we use is either recyclable, reusable, or repurposable, because the unboxing experience shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense.

Starting in September, every online pre-order will also plant a tree through our partnership with GoodAPI. Because I believe that even a small business can give back in big ways.
